Whitecap 6 in 316 Stainless Folding Deck Cleat

The Whitecap 6 in folding cleat lays down when a raised tie-off point is not needed. Made from 316 stainless steel, it is intended for top-mount installation. The folding design is especially useful where space below the deck is limited.

The supplier identifies a 6 in cleat length. Because it mounts from the top, the fitting may suit installations where deep below-deck hardware is impractical. Plan the base location around the cleat's open and folded positions.

Select the fitting based on the line attachment needed and the available mounting support. A clear deck still requires secure fasteners and sound backing. The stainless cleat can be cleaned with the rest of the deck hardware. Find related fittings in mounting and rigging hardware.
