The Viega MegaPress 316 Street Elbow turns 3/4 inch pipe through 45 degrees, with one press end and one spigot end.
Combining a street end with a forty-five degree turn is what lets two fittings be joined directly at an angle, which is how a tight offset gets made in almost no space. Two of these back to back produce an offset shorter than anything achievable with standard fittings and pipe nipples.
The gentler forty-five degree turn also costs less flow than a right angle, so a tight offset does not have to mean a restriction.
