The Viega MegaPress 316 1.5-Inch FKM 90-Degree Street Elbow makes a right angle turn in 1-1/2 inch 316 stainless, with one press end and one street end.
Because the street end goes straight into another fitting, a 90 degree turn takes one component instead of an elbow plus a nipple, which removes a joint and saves space where two fittings meet close together. It is a press connection, made with a pressing tool rather than threading or brazing, so there is no open flame and no cutting threads in place. Suits Schedule 5 through Schedule 40 stainless pipe.
