The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 accepts up to 75V of PV input and delivers up to 15A of charging, with Bluetooth and VE.Direct.

Seventy-five volts is the lowest PV input in the SmartSolar range, and it is the specification that limits the array. One or two panels in series will fit under 75V; three usually will not. Panel open-circuit voltage rises in cold weather, so the calculation has to use that figure rather than the operating voltage on the label.

Getting that wrong damages the controller on the first cold clear morning rather than failing gradually. The same 15A output as the 100/15 means the difference between the two is entirely about array wiring rather than capacity.

A programmable load output disconnects connected equipment when battery voltage falls too low, preventing excessive discharge. BatteryLife adjusts that threshold over time where solar production is insufficient, and Bluetooth with VE.Direct covers configuration, monitoring and wired connection to GX products.
