The Victron Skylla-i Control GX Remote Panel operates compatible 24V Skylla chargers over NMEA 2000 CAN bus.

Remote adjustment of the shore-power limit is the function that earns this panel its place. When a dock or generator cannot support the charger's full input demand, the limit can be lowered from the helm rather than climbing into the machinery space to reach the charger itself.

That comes up constantly on a cruising boat, where pedestal capacity changes from one marina to the next. Setting the limit at the panel takes seconds; leaving it wrong trips the dock breaker and everything else on the boat goes off with it.

It communicates over NMEA 2000 CAN bus, so it integrates with the boat's existing network rather than needing dedicated wiring. The Skylla platform supports variable absorption time, BatterySafe operation, storage mode and lithium-ready charging, with this panel giving the operator interface for the supported controls.
