Description

The Victron Phoenix 12V 500VA Inverter is a compact pure sine wave inverter without a GFCI outlet or VE.Direct.

This is the plainest inverter in the Phoenix range: DC to AC conversion and nothing else. The 12/500 GFCI version adds a protected duplex outlet and VE.Direct communication. Where those are not needed, this does the same conversion for less.

Five hundred VA suits small electronics, chargers and appliances that need clean AC without justifying the size and battery drain of a larger inverter. Oversizing an inverter costs standby current continuously, which on a boat at anchor is a real drain over a week.

Pure sine wave output suits sensitive equipment that may not run correctly from a modified sine wave source. The standalone design has no battery-charging or automatic-transfer functions, so it suits a system where charging is already handled elsewhere. Explore more power inverters.

  • The plainest Phoenix: conversion and nothing else
  • The GFCI version adds an outlet and VE.Direct
  • Oversizing costs standby current continuously
  • 500VA for small electronics and chargers
