The Victron Phoenix 12V 3000W Inverter converts a 12V battery bank into pure sine wave 120V AC for demanding loads.

Three thousand watts from a 12V bank means a very high DC current, and that has consequences for the installation. At full output the inverter draws several hundred amps from the batteries. Cable size, fusing and run length all matter far more here than on the 24V version producing the same AC power at half the current.

SinusMax technology gives extra start-up power for refrigeration compressors, electric motors and similar appliances that surge when they first start. Hybrid high-frequency and line-frequency engineering delivers that while keeping efficiency up.

Larger Phoenix models include VE.Bus communication for configuration and system integration. Compatible units can run in parallel for greater output or be arranged in three-phase configurations.
