Description

The Victron Phoenix 12/250 delivers about 200W continuous at 25°C from a 12V bank, with a GFCI duplex outlet and 400W peak.

Two hundred watts continuous from a 250VA rating is the working figure, with 400W available briefly for start-up surges. That peak-to-continuous ratio matters when sizing. A device drawing 200W steadily but 350W on start-up will run here, where one drawing 250W continuously will not.

The GFCI duplex outlet is built in, which on the smallest inverters is often left out and added as a separate protected outlet downstream. Having it integral means the protection cannot be forgotten during installation.

ECO mode drops the inverter to standby when demand is very low, then checks periodically for renewed load. A remote On/Off connection is supported, and VE.Direct allows adjustment of low-battery alarms, cut-off and restart thresholds, output voltage, frequency and ECO behavior. Explore more power inverters.

  • 200W continuous, 400W peak at 25°C
  • A 200W device with a 350W start-up will run
  • GFCI built in, not added downstream
  • ECO mode and remote On/Off both supported
