The Vexilar MAX Lithium Battery is a 12V 12 amp-hour battery supplied with the V-420L rapid charger.
Twelve amp-hours is the highest capacity in its class as a drop-in replacement for a 12 volt sealed lead acid battery, and it weighs about half as much. For a flasher, a portable fish finder or anything carried onto the ice, that weight difference is felt on every trip rather than being a specification.
Lithium also holds voltage steady through the discharge where lead acid sags, so a sonar unit runs at full brightness until the battery is nearly empty rather than dimming progressively.
