The Dolphin ProLite is a 4-bank 12V charger delivering 40A combined across four independent outputs, in an IP55 fanless enclosure.

Four independent outputs is unusual, since most multi-bank chargers stop at three. That suits a boat with starting, house, thruster and generator batteries, where a three-bank charger would leave one to be maintained separately.

The 40A figure is combined across all four rather than per output, which is the number to check against total bank capacity. Four banks sharing 40 amps charges more slowly than one bank taking 40, and a boat with large banks may want more capacity than this.

Fanless operation in an IP55 enclosure means quiet running with nothing mechanical to fail or clog, protected against dust and splash. Six-foot tinned marine cables and integrated fusing come prewired, Bluetooth works with the Dolphin Connect app, and lead-acid, AGM, Gel and lithium are all supported.
