The Veratron Pyrometer Sensor measures temperature across an exceptionally wide 100C to 900C (250F to 1650F) range, designed to work in conjunction with a LinkUp Gateway Module to bring exhaust gas, coolant, water, air, engine oil, transmission oil, or fuel temperature readings onto an NMEA 2000 network.
Built around a thermocoupler element with a LIN bus input signal, this sensor is genuinely plug-and-play once paired with a LinkUp Gateway, with no complex configuration needed for basic operation, and the whole system carries NMEA 2000 certification. A ring tongue connector and R 1/4 inch male thread make for a straightforward mechanical installation, while the adjustable sender element length, up to a maximum of 60mm, allows the sensor to be fitted to different exhaust or manifold configurations.
At just 6mm in diameter, this sensor mounts into tight spaces where a bulkier probe wouldn't fit, and a specified 20 Nm installation torque helps ensure a secure, leak-free fit. Running on a 6-24 VDC operating voltage with an analog 0-37 mV TC signal output, this pyrometer sensor is built for accurate, repeatable high-temperature monitoring.
