Description
The Veratron Professional Rudder Angle Indicator, NMEA 0183, is built to fit a standard 85mm panel cutout and designed for commercial applications, thanks to an embedded NMEA 0183 transceiver that makes it compatible with most professional autopilot systems already in use across commercial fleets.
A wide 270-degree dial scale paired with red illumination keeps the rudder position readable and precise at a glance, and it supports both 12V and 24V electrical systems out of the box. Built to resist real abuse, this gauge operates across an extended temperature range from -30°C to +80°C and holds an IPX7 protection rating for harsh marine environments. It reads either analog 3-180 ohm or 0-5V rudder sensors, and it can repeat rudder angle data over NMEA 0183 to multiple additional gauges wired in series, useful for boats with more than one helm station. An embedded infrared pushbutton lets an installer fine-tune the predefined calibration without opening the housing.
85mm gauge, 8-32V operating voltage, IP6K7 rated, -40°C to +115°C operating range, Molex MX150 12-pin connector, anti-reflective double lens. Includes wire harness and mounting spinlock. Sold individually.
