Description

The Veratron Dual Station Rudder Angle Sensor measures rudder position for two gauges at once. It reads from 45 degrees port through center to 45 degrees starboard. That makes it a fit for boats with a flybridge and lower helm.

The sensor outputs an analog signal of 1.5 to 90 ohms to each of two gauges. It runs on 6 to 24 volts DC and uses a 2-wire insulated return system. An insulated return helps avoid ground-related reading errors.

A rudder angle gauge shows exactly where the rudder is pointed before you throw the boat in gear. That's especially helpful when docking with twin helms.
