The Uniden UM725G Fixed Mount VHF Radio with GPS, Black, holds the same built-in GPS as the White version, giving DSC distress calls accurate position data without a separate GPS module wired in alongside the radio.

WAAS, SBAS, and QZSS augmentation sharpen that GPS accuracy further, and NMEA connectivity covers both 0183 and 2000, keeping this radio compatible with older instruments and newer networked systems alike. Private text messaging still lets crew communicate boat-to-boat over marine channels rather than broadcasting the conversation for every nearby boat to hear.
