Digital Selective Calling (DSC) capability includes a dedicated Channel 70 receiver plus distress, individual, urgency, safety, and position report and send functions, along with a DSC test call feature. Triple Watch Plus and Auto DSC channel switching keep you monitoring multiple channels without missing a call. The radio covers CMB Canadian Marine Broadcast "B" channels and international 4-digit channels, and is rated IPX8/JIS8 submersible for reliable performance in wet marine environments.

A backlit LCD display and keypad with dimmer control keep the radio easy to read day or night, while S.A.M.E. emergency and weather alert functionality, memory scan, and channel names round out a full feature set.
