It transmits at 1 or 25 watts to ensure maximum range, and features the largest LCD in its class at 68mm wide by 38mm high. NOAA weather channels with weather alerts keep you informed of changing conditions, and a speaker microphone with UP, DOWN, PTT, and 16/9/TRI keys makes operation straightforward at the helm.
This radio is remote microphone capable, supporting an optional remote microphone for second station operation, and includes NMEA 0183 input and output to send and receive GPS and DSC information with other devices.
