The Uniden Atlantis 155 Handheld Two-Way VHF Floating Marine Radio continues Uniden's tradition of tough, reliable handheld radios. It covers all NOAA weather channels along with all USA, international, and Canadian marine channels, and meets JIS8 submersible waterproof standards while being designed to float, so it goes anywhere the water takes you.

A brilliant backlit LCD display makes the radio easy to read and use day or night. Triple Watch mode monitors channels 16 and 9 simultaneously while still allowing you to listen to your selected channel, and Weather Alert Watch mode mutes the radio while monitoring a preset weather channel, sounding an alarm if a broadcast comes through. Emergency 16/9 channel monitoring scans one or both channels regularly within normal scanning cycles, and a Power Boost PTT key lets you switch between 1 and 2.5 watts of transmit power as needed.

A 10-hour battery life and battery save mode help the radio go the distance, with an on-screen battery level indicator and automatic power conservation when not in use. This radio includes a headset jack, DC adapter, belt clip, and 4 AAA rechargeable Ni-MH batteries.
