Uflex TM87 20-Foot Rack and Pinion Steering System

Designed for a measured 20-foot steering-cable route, the Uflex TM87OX20 combines the G87 front-mount helm with a TM87XLL rack-and-pinion cable and X34 bezel. Supplying these components together helps keep the helm, rack, and dash hardware coordinated for the installation.

The system provides a 3.7 in cable stroke and approximately 3.3 steering-wheel turns between the steering stops. A standard 3/4 in tapered shaft is used at the helm, and the steering cable has stainless-steel output ends with corrosion-resistant construction for marine service.

The full routed length matters more than the straight distance between the console and engine. Account for bends and service space, preserve the specified 7.9 in minimum bend radius, confirm the engine connection before installation, and cycle the steering several times to check for drag or interference.
