Uflex TM87 15-Foot Rack and Pinion Steering System

The Uflex TM87 15-Foot Rack and Pinion Steering System gives a mechanical steering replacement or new installation a matched G87 helm, TM87XLL cable, and X34 bezel. The TM87OX15 version is sized for a complete cable route that measures for the 15-foot steering cable.

At the helm, a standard 3/4 in tapered shaft supports compatible steering wheels. The rack cable delivers 3.7 in of stroke, and the system is designed for approximately 3.3 wheel turns from one steering stop to the other. Corrosion-resistant construction and stainless-steel cable ends are used where the system is exposed to a marine environment.

Before mounting the helm, confirm the dash opening, engine attachment, and cable path. Route the cable without sharp turns, respect the 7.9 in minimum bend radius, and cycle the steering fully after assembly to make sure movement stays smooth throughout the range.
