Uflex TM87 13-Foot Rack and Pinion Steering System

The Uflex TM87 13-foot rack-and-pinion steering system gives a high-efficiency mechanical steering package for compatible boats. The kit combines a G87 front-mount helm, 13-foot TM87XLL steering cable, and X34 mounting bezel, allowing the primary helm and cable components to be installed as a matched system.

The design uses corrosion-resistant materials, stainless-steel cable output ends, a standard 3/4-inch tapered steering shaft, and a 3.7-inch cable stroke. Approximately 3.3 turns lock-to-lock provide predictable steering travel, while compatibility with specified competing cables and helm patterns can simplify supported replacement installations.

Confirm that the 13-foot cable matches the measured steering route, including bends and service allowance. Verify engine connection, helm and cable compatibility, dashboard space, 7.9-inch minimum bend radius, and the boat manufacturer's horsepower rating. After installation, inspect the cable path and test full steering travel before operating the boat.
