Trident 10-Foot Black Stern Flex Hose w/Flange

The Trident 10-Foot Black Stern Flex Hose w/Flange is a flexible rigging hose used to contain and protect wiring, control cables, and hoses between a boat’s transom and outboard engine. Its lightweight polyethylene copolymer construction keeps the rigging bundle organized while shielding components from abrasion and exposure in a highly mobile area.

An integral polyethylene helix reinforces the hose against crushing while preserving the flexibility needed as the outboard steers and trims. The black hose also resists UV exposure and gives good chemical resistance, so it is appropriate for an exposed transom environment where ordinary conduit may become brittle or damaged.

This 10-foot hose has a 2-inch inside diameter and connects to Trident flange part 142-2000. Route the rigging so the engine can turn and trim through its full range without pulling, pinching, or sharply bending the enclosed cables and hoses. Secure the flange and hose so movement is controlled without restricting engine articulation.
