The Trident Barrier Lined B1-15 EPA Compliant Outboard Fuel Line Hose is built with a unique barrier liner on the inside surface of the tube, keeping fuel out of direct contact with the rubber. It is designed for boaters who want to prevent ethanol degradation of the rubber tube, an increasingly important concern as higher ethanol blends become more common.

This greatly reduces fuel permeation and prevents small pieces of rubber from reaching and damaging the engine, a risk that grows with higher ethanol blends like E-15. The hose provides excellent rope-like bend-ability and fitting retention, rated for both gasoline (including ethanol blends up to E85) and diesel (including bio diesel blends up to 100%), and exceeds ABYC H-24, SAE J1527, ISO 8469 B1, and USCG Type B1-15 standards.
