Tecnoseal R3MG 3.63 in Magnesium Rudder Anode

The Tecnoseal R3MG is a 3.63 inch magnesium rudder anode that bolts to the rudder blade. It stands 0.52 inches tall and weighs 0.39 lb. Rudders are a common spot for corrosion, especially where the stock and blade fittings meet.

Magnesium is the most active anode metal and is meant for fresh water only, since in salt water it overprotects and wears away very quickly. Each anode comes with a stainless steel hex nut and socket cap screw, and the hex nut is captive, which makes installation much easier underwater. Tecnoseal makes these at full size and weight for maximum service life.
