The Surefire XH30 is a dual output pistol light giving 300 or 1,000 lumens through a TIR lens, in black.
Dual output is the useful part. A thousand lumens indoors reflects off pale walls and can overwhelm the user as much as anything else, and 300 lumens is often the better setting in a house. Having both means the light suits a corridor and an open yard without compromising on either.
A TIR lens uses total internal reflection to shape the beam rather than a reflector, which produces a smoother beam with no dark center and less spill wasted sideways.
