Surefire X300U-B Tan 1000-Lumen Weapon Light

The Surefire X300U-B gives 1,000 lumens in a tan finish, fitting pistol and Picatinny rails. The integrated mounting format keeps the light attached to the equipment rather than requiring a separate handheld light during use. A weapon light in this output class is intended to combine target-area illumination with quick access to controls from the mounted position.

The Ultra is the output model where the Turbo is the throw model. A thousand lumens spread wider lights a whole room or a vehicle interior, which is what most defensive use actually needs. The Turbo reaches further but through a tighter beam, so the choice is between seeing a wide area close by and identifying something at distance.

The B designation is the thumbscrew attachment, tightened by hand onto the rail. It is secure and costs less than the lever latch version. Tan matches sand-colored frames and furniture rather than standing out against them, which is the only difference between this and the black version. Explore more weapon lights.
