Standard Horizon GX1850 Fixed Mount VHF Radio in White

The Standard Horizon GX1850 Fixed Mount VHF Radio in White is an Explorer Series fixed mount VHF with a rear case only 3.3 in deep, about half the depth of comparable radios. That slim case makes it easier to flush mount in a tight console or bracket mount without eating up dash space. Flush-mount dimensions are 5.4 x 2.8 x 3.4 in.

A separate receiver watches Channel 70 for DSC calls, so you never miss one while you are listening to another channel. Plug it into your network and it shares GPS data and DSC calling with compatible devices, and it can automatically poll the GPS position of up to 6 ships. With a GPS connected, the display shows latitude, longitude, SOG and COG, and the compass, waypoint and GPS status pages let you enter, save and navigate to a waypoint.

It works with the optional SSM-70H RAM4 second station microphone, which controls every radio and DSC function and adds an intercom between the two stations. The E2O menu system keeps DSC calling and programming simple, and a preset key stores up to 10 favorite channels. You also get programmable scan, priority scan and multi watch, group monitor, man overboard, a selectable night mode display, NOAA weather alert and a noise canceling microphone with channel, 16/S and H/L keys. Other radios are in our fixed mount VHF radios section.
