Spyderco Delica 4 Lightweight Black FRN Folding Knife

The Spyderco Delica 4 Lightweight Black FRN (C11PSBK) carries a 2.88-inch VG-10 blade with a partially serrated edge in a satin finish. The Delica has been one of Spyderco's top-selling everyday carry knives for decades, and the fourth generation refined the handle and clip. It weighs about 2.5 ounces, so it rides in a pocket without dragging it down. This version has a satin VG-10 blade with serrations along roughly the rear third of the edge.

The leaf-shaped blade has a full flat grind for good slicing, and the serrated section near the handle helps with rope, strapping, and seat belts. The FRN handle has a bi-directional texture and a jimped choil for a secure hold. A back lock and Spyderco's Round Hole keep the operation simple and reliable. Skeletonized stainless liners stiffen the handle while keeping weight low. VG-10 is a cobalt-bearing Japanese stainless known for holding a fine edge without much fuss.

The four-position clip can be moved for tip-up or tip-down carry, left or right. It is made in Seki, Japan. It is a strong choice for a first quality knife or an everyday work knife.
