Spyderco Endela Lightweight Blue FRN Folding Knife

The Spyderco Endela Lightweight Blue FRN (C243PCBL) is sized between the Delica and the Endura, with a 3.41-inch drop point blade. This version uses CPM SPY27, a powder steel made by Crucible for Spyderco and paired with cobalt blue handles. Many owners see the Endela as the right middle size for people who find the Delica small and the Endura long. Overall length is about 7.88 inches open.

SPY27 has a fine, even structure from the powder process, which gives a good mix of toughness, edge holding, and stain resistance. The blade is full flat ground for clean slicing, with a satin finish and a plain edge. Cobalt blue FRN with a bi-directional texture keeps the knife light and grippy. The large Round Hole lets you open the blade with a gloved thumb.

Skeletonized stainless liners stiffen the handle, and a four-position clip allows carry on either side, tip-up or tip-down. A back lock secures the blade, and the Round Hole allows one-hand opening. The Endela is built in Seki, Japan, alongside the Delica and Endura. Because SPY27 runs are limited, these blue Endelas tend to sell out when a batch ends.
