Description

The SOG Field Knife has a 4-inch satin 7Cr17MoV stainless clip point blade with a full tang at 8.5 inches overall, a black TPR handle with a thumb ridge and glass breaker, a lanyard hole and a molded nylon belt sheath.

The glass breaker is a hardened point at the handle end, meant for tempered auto glass, which shatters under a concentrated strike where a flat blow does nothing. The thumb ridge is jimping cut into the spine where the thumb sits, giving purchase for controlled cuts that a smooth spine does not.

7Cr17MoV is a Chinese stainless with good corrosion resistance that sharpens back quickly on any stone. TPR is a soft thermoplastic rubber that holds grip when hands are wet, and the molded sheath rinses clean. Explore more Tactical Fixed Blade Knives.
