Description

The Smith & Wesson Special Ops Combat Knife has a 7.75-inch black coated stainless spear point blade with a sawback at 12.75 inches overall, a black thermoplastic handle, a black finish stainless guard and a heavy duty thermoplastic and nylon scabbard.

The sawback is cut into the spine opposite the cutting edge, so one tool clears with the main edge and cuts through seasoned wood and bone with the teeth, two jobs that need entirely different geometry. At 7.75 inches the blade is long enough that the saw has real length to work with, which is not true of sawbacks on shorter knives.
