Smart Tabs SX 9.5x10 White Boat Trim Tabs

The Smart Tabs SX 9.5 x 10 self-leveling trim tab system is designed for 15- to 18-foot powerboats with 60 to 135 horsepower that need better planing behavior without electric switches or hydraulic controls. The tabs react automatically to boat speed, load, and water pressure, adding stern lift when it is most useful and reducing their influence as speed increases.

Composite construction eliminates rust and corrosion concerns associated with exposed metal tab systems, making the SX series appropriate for fresh or salt water with no routine control-system maintenance. Tracking ribs are molded into the tab design to improve high-speed handling, and the system can be tuned to suit the performance characteristics of the individual boat.

Installation is intentionally simple, using interlocking components and self-locking clevis pins so the system can be assembled with basic hand tools. Once installed and adjusted correctly, Smart Tabs can reduce bow rise, lower planing speed, improve acceleration, and help control porpoising or chine walking without requiring the operator to make constant helm adjustments.
