The Shakespeare Galaxy 5400-XT 4-Foot VHF Antenna, 3dB gain, is a versatile general-purpose antenna built heavy-duty despite its compact size, at home on T-tops, hardtops, and other elevated mounts where small size and dependable range matter more than raw gain.

A center-fed half-wave coaxial sleeve design gives this antenna solid VHF performance in a compact footprint, and the brass-and-copper element construction keeps conductivity, and real-world range, strong despite the smaller footprint. For boats where a full-length antenna simply isn't practical aloft, this is a dependable middle-ground option.
