Shakespeare Galaxy 5226-XT 8-Foot Black VHF Antenna

The Shakespeare Galaxy 5226-XT 8-Foot VHF Antenna, 6dB gain, is electrically identical to Shakespeare's 5225-XT but finished in a glossy black rather than the standard Galaxy White, giving boaters a color option that matches darker hardware, hulls, or towers without giving up any performance.

Like the 5225-XT, this antenna takes Shakespeare's classic Style 5225 design and rebuilds it in a stronger, stiffer radome, purpose-built for hardtops, T-tops, and radar arches where wind loading and vibration at speed take a real toll on lesser antennas. Electrically it runs the same phased 5/8-wave elements as its white counterpart, brass and copper throughout, so range and reception stay exactly what the Galaxy line delivers regardless of finish color.

One section, 8' height. Ships with 20' of RG-8/X low-loss cable terminated in a PL-259 connector. Works with a Shakespeare Style 4187 Ratchet Mount, purchased separately. Backed by Shakespeare's 5-year limited warranty.
