The Shakespeare Galaxy 2-Foot Heavy-Duty Extension Mast rounds out Shakespeare's extension mast sizing, made from the same quality white fiberglass as its larger siblings, finished to blend seamlessly with the rest of the Galaxy lineup, just scaled down for boaters who need a smaller height boost.

This 1" diameter mast lifts an antenna higher for better effective range, or clears it above nearby obstructions on deck that would otherwise interfere with signal. As with any Shakespeare extension setup, one rule stays constant: if the combined antenna-plus-mast length runs past 8 feet total, an upper support bracket, sold separately, becomes mandatory to keep the assembly from flexing too much at speed.

One section, 24" actual length. Suggested mount: Shakespeare Style 4187 or 5187. Upper support bracket required if combined length exceeds 8 feet.
