Shadow-Caster 16' LED Accent Lighting Strip

The Shadow-Caster SCM-AL-LED is a 16 foot color-shifting LED accent strip terminating in 20 feet of lead wire.

This strip is built to be hidden rather than seen. Mounted under a gunwale, behind trim or above a headliner it throws light without the strip itself being the focal point. Where the strip will be visible, Shadow-Caster's Neon versions are the right choice instead, since they carry a built-in diffuser that produces a continuous glow rather than showing individual LED points.

Choosing between them comes down to whether the strip can be concealed, and with the Neon versions also to the geometry and bend direction of the mounting position. Getting that wrong means either visible LED points along a run or a diffused strip fitted where nobody can see it.

Twenty feet of lead wire gives real flexibility in where the strip sits relative to its power connection, which matters when the supply point is nowhere near the run.
