Scout 9-Inch Stubby White VHF Antenna, Quick Mount

The Scout 9-Inch Stubby White VHF Antenna, Quick Mount is the KS-10, the shortest VHF antenna in Scout's range at only 9 in long. The fiberglass whip removes by hand, so you can take it off for trailering, covering the boat or storage. It weighs about 3.5 oz.

It covers 156 to 162 MHz with unity gain, vertical polarization and 50 ohm impedance. It handles up to 50 W and is DC grounded. An anti-UV filter in the whip keeps it from fading and yellowing in the sun.

A waterproof mount is included and installs quickly on any flat surface, with an inner rubber gasket to keep water out of the hole. It comes with 5 m (about 16 ft) of RG-58 CU MIL coax and a PL-259 connector. Unity gain gives a wide signal pattern that works well on small boats that roll and pitch. Other antennas are in our marine antennas section.
