Description
The Schrade Uncle Henry Bear Paw has a polished stainless clip blade in a wood handle with brass bolsters, closing to 5 inches on a lockback, with a brown leather belt sheath.
At 5 inches closed this is a large folding hunter, longer shut than many knives are open, so it ships with a belt sheath rather than expecting a pocket. Brass bolsters rather than the nickel silver Schrade usually fits give a warmer tone that darkens with handling instead of staying bright.
A lockback holds the blade with a spine-mounted bar, which suits a blade this long where spring tension alone would not. Uncle Henry has been Schrade's hunting line for decades, and the leather sheath belongs to that traditional build. Explore more Lockback Knives.
- 5 inches closed, a large folding hunter
- Brass bolsters darken with handling, unlike nickel silver
- Lockback suits a blade too long for spring tension
- Leather belt sheath included
