The Schrade Pro Hunter Mini is built for caping and detail work, with a 2.75-inch satin 7Cr17MoV blade running full tang through a Staglon handle at 6.75 inches overall, with a lanyard hole and a brown leather belt sheath.

Staglon is Schrade's molded imitation antler, used on the Uncle Henry line since the 1960s. It gives the ridged traditional look consistently, where genuine stag varies in size, color and price. A short blade is the point of a caping knife. Working close around the head of an animal needs control, and a long edge gets in the way.
