The Schrade Old Timer Bearhead has a stainless drop point blade in sawcut Delrin handles with a nickel silver bolster and an inlay shield, closing to 3 inches on a lockback.

Bearhead refers to the shape of the frame, which swells at the butt end into a rounded profile that fills the palm on a knife otherwise too small to grip properly. At 3 inches closed this is among the smallest lockbacks Schrade makes, sized to sit alongside keys.

A lockback holds the blade with a spine-mounted bar rather than the spring tension a slip joint uses, which is worth having on a knife this small.
