Description

The Scanstrut Flip Pro Duo is a marine power module with a USB-A port, a USB-C port at up to 60W and a 12V socket.

Keeping a USB-A port is the reason to choose this over the Multi, and it suits a boat where older devices are still in use. Cameras, handheld GPS units, older phones and every accessory bought before the switch to C still use A cables, and a boat with those aboard needs a port for them.

USB-C output depends on system voltage: up to 60W with profiles to 20V at 3A on 24V, and 5V, 9V or 12V profiles up to 3A on 12V. That difference matters if a laptop is the intended load, since a 12V boat will not reach the full 60W the port is capable of.

The 12V socket handles spotlights, portable pumps and conventional accessories. One module covers legacy USB, modern USB-C and a 12V outlet from a single installation point. Explore more battery charging accessories.

  • USB-A kept, against two USB-C on the Multi
  • Cameras, handheld GPS and older phones still use A
  • Full 60W needs a 24V system
  • A 12V boat tops out at 12V and 3A
