Description
The Scanstrut Flip Pro Multi is a marine power module with two USB-C ports at up to 60W and a conventional 12V socket.
Two USB-C ports rather than one USB-A and one USB-C is what separates this from the Flip Pro Duo. Modern phones, tablets and laptops have moved to C, so a boat being fitted now is better served by two C ports than by keeping a legacy A port. A boat with older devices aboard may want the Duo instead.
Sixty watts maximum is enough to charge a tablet properly or trickle a laptop, which a standard 5V port cannot do. The universal USB-C format works with common C-to-C and C-to-Lightning cables, so the cable a device came with is usually the right one.
The 12V socket alongside handles spotlights, portable pumps and anything with a conventional plug. One module covers both connection types from a single installation point, which matters where console space is limited. Explore more battery charging accessories.
- Two USB-C ports, against the Duo's A and C
- Devices have moved to C on a boat fitted now
- 60W charges a tablet or trickles a laptop
- 12V socket alongside for conventional plugs
