The blades are detachable and interchangeable with the S502U and S802, which is unusual on a multitool. A worn or broken blade is swapped rather than sending the tool away, and a different blade shape can be fitted for a different job. Only one blade is included, so the interchangeability is a system to buy into rather than something the tool arrives with.
