The Ronstan Large Grey Composite C-Cleat Cam Cleat is intended for control lines, jib sheets, and mainsheets that need strong holding power with low entry and release effort. Its cam profile is shaped to hold securely while keeping the effort needed to enter or release the line relatively low. A recessed multi-coil spring maintains consistent cam pressure across the working range, including on smaller lines. The tooth geometry is also designed to grip without treating the rope as a sacrificial wear surface.

Carbon-fiber composite cams keep the cleat light and corrosion-free while resisting heat and abrasion. A glass-fiber reinforced base supports the cam assembly, and the slotted Acetal bearing is PTFE impregnated for smooth movement under load. Ronstan's self-cleaning bearing arrangement helps the cams continue moving freely when the cleat is exposed to salt, dust, and deck debris.
