Description

The Rod Saver RT40 Retractable Transom Tie-Downs are a pair of straps that adjust up to 48 inches. The webbing retracts when not in use. They secure the boat's transom to the trailer.

The RT40 swivels so the webbing pulls in a straight line to the transom eye. An easy squeeze release lets you secure or free the boat quickly. That straight pull reduces wear on the strap.

An optional mounting bracket may be required depending on your trailer. They're sold in pairs. Inspect the surrounding brackets and fasteners during installation, since worn mounting hardware can undermine a new replacement part. Browse more trailer tie-downs.
