ProMariner ProNautic 1215P 15A Battery Charger

The ProMariner ProNautic 1215P is a 15A three-bank four-stage charger on the all-digital ProMar platform, with a remote temperature probe included.

Twelve selectable charging profiles is far more than any other charger in the range, which is the reason to choose this one where battery types are unusual or mixed. Most chargers offer three or four profiles covering flooded, AGM and gel. Twelve allows the program to be matched much more closely to a specific battery rather than approximated.

It calculates absorption time from the actual discharge state rather than running a fixed timer, and runs a de-sulfation cycle after extended maintenance to recover reserve capacity. Energy Saver lowers float voltage after long periods without significant load, which is what stops a boat on shore power all winter cooking its batteries slowly.

Power factor correction and auto-ranging global AC input handle different shore supplies while reducing harmonic distortion back into the marina supply.
