ProMariner ProNauticP 2420P 20 Amp 3 Bank Battery Charger

The ProMariner ProNauticP 2420P is a 20A three-bank charger for 24V marine battery systems.

Twenty-four volt is the specification to check first. This charger will not correctly serve a 12V system, and the 12V ProNautic models will not serve a 24V one, whatever the amperage matches. Larger boats and thruster or windlass installations commonly run 24V, which is where this model belongs.

Distributed-On-Demand sends available current to whichever bank needs it rather than reserving a share for a battery already at full charge, which is how a 20A charger does the work of a larger fixed-output one. Selectable profiles support flooded, AGM and gel, with automatic conditioning, maintenance and periodic reconditioning built in.
