Description

The ProMariner TruePower Plus 2000W is a modified sine wave inverter with a 30A transfer switch, GFCI outlets, USB and a digital LCD.

Modified sine wave is the specification to check carefully here, since it costs less than pure sine but does not suit everything. Motors run hotter and buzz, some battery chargers and medical devices refuse it, and audio equipment picks up a hum. Tools, heaters and simple resistive loads are fine.

Two thousand watts is a substantial output, so the loads it will actually run should be checked against that limitation before ordering. The 1000W pure sine model in the same range costs more per watt but runs anything.

The internal 30A transfer switch routes external AC to connected loads automatically when shore power is available. A dual-color digital LCD shows AC output and battery input, with a USB charging port and GFCI outlets, soft-start filtered technology and double-rated surge capability for startup loads. Explore more power inverters.

  • Modified sine wave, not pure sine
  • Motors buzz and some chargers refuse it entirely
  • Fine for tools, heaters and resistive loads
  • 2000W with a 30A transfer switch
