Pro-Shot 6.5 in .22 Cal Starter Pistol Cleaning Kit

The Pro-Shot Starter Pistol Cleaning Kit in .22 caliber is a small, simple kit for .22 pistols. It is built around a 6.5 in rod, which fits handgun barrels and keeps the whole kit compact enough for a range bag. It is an easy way to start a regular cleaning routine for a new .22.

The rod is Pro-Shot's micro-polished stainless steel, and it uses the standard 8-32 thread. That means replacement brushes and jags are easy to find. A short rod is easier to control on a pistol than a full-length rifle rod.

Clean from the breech end when the barrel design allows, push a wet patch through, scrub with the brush, and patch until clean. Add your own solvent and lubricant. Pro-Shot makes a matching .38-.45 kit for larger-bore pistols, and you can browse more Gun Cleaning & Maintenance for supplies.
