Pro-Shot 8 in .22 Cal+ Pistol Cleaning Rod

The Pro-Shot 8 inch One-Piece Cleaning Rod is a stainless steel rod for .22 caliber and larger pistols. It uses the standard 8-32 thread, so jags, brushes and patch holders screw straight on. The short length is easy to handle on a pistol barrel. Being one piece, it has no joints to loosen or catch on the way through the bore.

Pro-Shot rods are premium stainless steel, burnished and micro-polished to a dense, mirror-smooth surface. A rough or soft rod can pick up grit and drag it down the bore, and this finish resists holding onto it. The swivel handle lets the rod turn as you push, so brushes and jags follow the twist of the rifling instead of fighting it.

A one-piece rod is the choice of precision shooters because it flexes less and stays straight. Pair it with a bore guide on bolt-action rifles to keep the rod centered and protect the chamber throat. Store it in its tube so the polished surface doesn't get nicked or bent. Browse more gun cleaning and maintenance.
