Pro-Guide 1-Bank 12V 10-Amp On-Board Battery Charger

The Pro-Guide PGC-110 is a single-bank 10A on-board charger with selectable Lead Acid, AGM and Lithium profiles, rated IP68.

Three selectable profiles let the charger match its voltage to the actual chemistry rather than using one generic setting. That single-setting approach is how AGM batteries get undercharged and flooded batteries get gassed, and neither failure is obvious until capacity has already gone.

The intelligent algorithm periodically rechecks state of charge, so the charger can stay plugged in between trips for ongoing maintenance. That is different from a charger that completes a cycle and then holds float indefinitely, which causes its own slow damage.

Lithium Activation Mode briefly supplies voltage to wake a sleeping battery management system, which an ordinary charger cannot do. The IP68 enclosure supports demanding onboard use, the 110-120V AC input suits North American shore power, and protection covers over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, reverse polarity and over-temperature.
